our deepest sympathy and pass along our condolences to the Gantner family. Chief
Gantner was a member of a small group of dedicated people who make up the Yukon Fire Service. He gave back to his community of Tagish through his dedication to making the Tagish Volunteer Fire Department the best it could be and protecting his community.
On behalf of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC), I express our deep condolences to Jack Layton’s family, to his colleagues and friends in the New Democratic Party and all Canadians who were inspired by his dedication to public service.
