2020 CAFC Committees and Working Groups
Share |

Committees are a core part of the CAFC, playing both active and advisory roles in the Association. As the priorities change and evolve, so do the mandate of the committees. In response to this need, each year, CAFC launches a call for committees. At that time, CAFC evaluates the status of each committee on whether some need to be stuck, retired, or moved to a monitoring status. Members are then invited to join the year’s committee slate. Committees are formed from a combination of members of the association, and, in some cases, consultants (internal or external). Below you will find the 2020 slate of committees.

NEW Council of Advisors: Building on the resolution made in 2019, the Council of Advisors creates the code of conduct that the CAFC will communicate to members and partners about use of the brand, and the use of consultants in the fire sector. It also looks at the issue of retirement within the CAFC and stands up the CAFC consulting arm.
