National Fire Information Database |
The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs and the Canadian Council of Fire Marshals and Fire Commissioners are pleased to make the National Fire Information Database available to all researchers. In exchange of the data, we ask that they help us format it in a manner that facilitates access for our members and that they agree to share updates and information from their research.
You can view the data sharing agreement and letter outlining the terms and conditions here.
For more information on the database and the elements it contains, please view the Data Dictionary here.
If you are interested and if the terms and conditions outlined in the document are acceptable to you, please proceed to the electronic agreement (by clicking the link at the bottom of the data sharing agreement) to complete the necessary information. We will review each within 10 business days and send you the data if all is acceptable. If there are issues in your application, we will advise you accordingly.
Please let Anabel Therrien know if you have any questions at atherrrien@cafc.ca.
Please note the CAFC offices are closed from 5:00pm December 21, 2018 until 8:00am January 3, 2019.
