I spoke with my local pharmacy to discuss lead times on medications in the case of an emergency and I was told that most pharmacies have a 4 to 6 month store of medications, and where the real trouble will hit is when people need medical equipment, as these are pull or need controlled assets what are first in first out based on minimal required stocking levels.
