In 2020, the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs undertook a strategic planning process. At the heart of the process was the question: “What challenges will the fire service have to address to 2030”.
The results are captured in Mapping the Future: What are the Challenges Facing the Fire Sector to 2030 and How Will We Respond. For ease of reference a one page Strategic Plan Summary is also available. Accompanying this strategic plan is a recording of the Town Hall where it was first presented.
