With thanks to the CAFC Leadership Development Committee, it is our pleasure to open registration for level I (there are III) of the rapid response program in leadership development pilot, focussing on “Lead Self”.
Who can Register?
The program is free of charge to all members in good standing of the CAFC due to concerns about class size in the initial offering.

Overview
The intended audience is (a) current leaders who may not have had the opportunity for formal training or who want a refresher and (b) aspiring leaders.
The program is generously funded by Motorola Solutions Foundation and is a direct response to the Census
2022 findings that departments were deferring leadership development training due to budget pressures.
Tremendous thank you to the committee who has shepherded this curriculum, many of them have also agreed to serve as course instructors. We
hope that this is a useful return on your investment in the CAFC.

Program Format
For this program, each session will again include didactic and
interactive discussions, presenter slides or fact sheet, and a confirmation of
learning assessment. Individuals who take all workshops and pass the
confirmation of learning for each section (repeatable until a minimum 70% is
achieved) can receive a certificate of completion.
Each session will also have
a brief "ask me anything" session whereby instructors experienced in
this area can provide their opinions and suggestions. The sessions will be
in English only, however, the written materials will be translated, and simultaneous translation will be available during the sessions.
The first level of the program will take place every three weeks between the months of January and June of 2025 (see dates and times below).
