The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC), in collaboration with the National Advisory Council (NAC), its Answer the Call committee and the Data committee, are excited to announce to launch the 2024 Great Canadian Fire Census!
Starting on May 2 and running until the extended deadline of June 24, 2024, we are asking you to provide us with your departmental data as at April 30, 2024 or the last 12 months reporting cycle. We’d like only 1 response per department.
How long will it take?
If this is the first time that you submit data into the Census, this will take you about 45 minutes, but will have an important impact on the sector. You can view here the impact the data had in 2023.
If you completed the Census in 2023, we are asking you to review your data to update items where needed and answer the new Census questions. It should take you about 30 minutes to complete.
If you completed the Census in 2022 but not in 2023, we would like you to review the data you submitted for any updates and answer the new questions from 2023 and 2024 Rapid Fire Questions. It should take you about 35 minutes to complete.
If you completed the Census in 2021 but not in 2022 or 2023, we would like you to review the data you submitted for any updates and answer the new questions from 2022, 2023, and 2024. It should take you about 40 minutes to complete.
