Deadline Closing Soon: 2023 Fire Chief of the Year Awards

A reminder that nominations for the Canadian Assocation of Fire Chief's 2023 Fire Chief of the Year will be accepted until Friday, August 11, 2023.

About the Awards: There are two awards which are being given this year as follows; one for a Volunteer Fire Chief (i.e. a  fire chief who is volunteer or part time paid in a volunteer department), and one for a Career Fire Chief (i.e. a full time paid fire chief in a volunteer, composite or career department). During CAFC’s annual conference, Fire-Rescue Canada, the nominees and the winners are recognized for their outstanding contributions at the awards gala. Fire Underwriters Survey (FUS) and the CAFC are the sponsors of these prestigious national awards.
