The CAFC in collaboration with lawyers Ross Dunsmore and James LeNoury, of Emstrata Law, an alliance of leading employment and labour law firms, are delighted to host free bi-monthly “Ask the Lawyers” session for CAFC Members beginning in February 2021 focusing on Human Resource and Labour Relations Law.
Ross Dunsmore, James LeNoury, and the members of Emstrata Law have worked extensively on countless files in the fields of employment and labour law. In their practices the members of Emstrata Law help clients strategically navigate the many issues constantly arising within employment and labour law in Canada.
Topics will address both non-unionized and union work places including: the interpretation, application, and alleged violation of collective agreements; human rights, including attendance management, accommodation of disabilities; progressive discipline; exercise of management rights; bargaining-arbitration protocol; grievance response and new arbitration and judicial decisions.

The third session will take place on June 18, 2021 at 12PM EST. Questions from members can be submitted until May 27, 2021 through the registration form. Any member in good standing can partake. Registration is however required.
