For more than a century fire service leaders, associates, and their provincial and national affiliate organizations, have built and maintained the Canadian Association of fire chiefs. Why? The '6Cs': Community, Content, Causes, Contribution, Cost savings and most importantly, Canada. While membership in the association builds a stronger national fire service, there are also at least 20 more specific member-only benefits that come with your membership in the CAFC. Who is eligible to join the Association?

CAFC has several membership categories. The primary membership category is an individual member. Individual members are individuals who hold a management position in emergency services, provided that they do not hold active membership in any association or union that represents firefighters in collective bargaining. We also offer the company officer membership category, to assist them in Chief Fire Office development. Finally, CAFC has associate membership opportunities, for business and industry representatives, as well as retirees. Click here to become a member!
