In light of current events in BC, the CAFC Board of Directors would like to establish a registry of individuals who can serve as peer support resources in the event of a major emergency where local or provincial resources are stretched.  We would like to ask for your assistance in beginning this registry, initially for the situation in BC, but potentially for similar events in the long term. 

 
This registry would only be used by CAFC at the request of a CAFC member fire chief or emergency service leader, to identify a potential source of support for member departments or provincial /territorial/ national affiliate organizations seeking additional resources. There is no expectation of availability, only of consideration in the event that it is needed or requested.
 
To this end, we have created a database for departments who may be willing to be contacted for the purpose of sharing peer support resources in catastrophic situations where local and provincial resources are stretched.
